Part 1

  • Beginning of the Middle Ages, also known as the medieval period, which lasted around 1,000 years until around 1450.
  • Due to the conquest of the major civilizations of Rome and Greece, the start of the middle Ages is known as the Dark Ages.
  • Poverty, ignorance, economic instability, poor governance, and the bubonic plague cast a shadow over the middle Ages.
  • The Black Death, often known as the bubonic plague, struck in 1349. About 1.5 million people loved it.
  • Because knights were the esteemed figures in the era, it is sometimes referred to as the age of chivalry.
